煤竹を使用し、縄目模様による煤竹特有の濃淡を取り入れた枡網代編みである。縁の部分は細い柾割の煤竹を幅10mm程に並べ、皮籐で飾りを施しながら巻いている。手の部分は細い2本の煤竹を用いており、端を底の裏に差し込み留めている。底の裏全体に黒漆が塗られている。
