久田宗全好みを煤竹により写した作品である。底が四方で、口造りは丸く、手は二本の煤竹を付け、籐の蔓で結びながら巻くように留めている。
野草のもり沢山をたっぷりと生け、野の花の重なり合う風情を楽しむのに適している籠である。
