煤竹網代急須 [05-003]

縦12cm×横12cm×高さ7.5cm×口径7cm

把手の位置から横手（よこて）の急須で、日常において使用するポピュラーな形である。全体を網代編みで仕上げ、内側には何層にも黒漆が施されている。表面の漆はつや消しである。蓋は煤竹の縄模様による濃淡を組み合わせながら枡網代編みで、摘みは細い皮籐を捻り編みにして取り付けられている。

This type of a Kyusu(teapot) is called “Yokote”, becase it has a Lip for pouring and a handle at right angles. This kind of Kyusu is a popular form for general use. The body was made with the twill plaiting, and a lot of layers of black lacquer were applied inside. The surface of the body is frosted lacquer. The lid has light and shade of Susudake with the Masu-twill plaiting. The knob was joined to the lid by the Hineri plaiting with the split rattan lines.

横11.5cm×口径9cm×高さ7cm

把手のない急須である。煤竹の縄模様による濃淡を組み合わせながら全体を網代編みで仕上げ、内側には何層にも黒漆が施されている。蓋は枡網代編みで摘みは細い根曲がり竹の節の部分が取り付けられている。

横14.5cm×口径8cm×高さ7.8cm

把手の位置から後手（うしろで）の急須である。胴は変わり網代編み、把手は非常に細い煤の根曲がり竹が用いられ、注ぎ口、蓋は捻り編みである。特に蓋は、摘みの部分を細く割り放射線状に広げその間を捻り編みしたものである。内部には黒漆が施され、煎茶用として実際に湯を注ぎ使用する事ができる。
