蟹香合 [35-010]

縦3.8cm×横6.4cm×厚み2cm

蟹の彫刻をあしらった香合で、肉厚の煤竹を使用している。表面に蟹を彫刻し、蟹以外の部分を削り立体感を出した香合である。一部分（目や甲羅）には金粉を、また内側は黒漆に金箔を施している。磯の波打ち際で見かける蟹をイメージしており、海の涼を感じる作品である。

Kougou modeled a Crab

This Kougou which was modeled on a crab was made of thick Susudake. A crab pattern was sculptured on surface and modeld the crab. A gilt was applied at a part of the body (shell of crab etc..). A gilt and black lacquer was applied inside. This Kougou reminds us of the crab and the cool of the sea.

茶合「茶烟永日香」 [70-001]

茶合（ちゃごう）とは、茶を移し入れる時にその量を見計らうものである。煎茶に於いては茶則（ちゃそく）・仙媒（せんばい）とも言い、茶を点ずる時、茶量を決め急須に静かに入れる作法の用具である。

二つ割りにした煤竹を使用し、下方に節を付け、彫刻刀により細かい絵柄が刻まれた作品である。

「茶烟永日香（ちゃえんえいじつこうバシ）」とある。

Chago (Tea scoop bamboo)

Chasoku or Chago, they come in many forms to scoop green tea leaves from a container into the teapot.

This Chago was made of a splited bamboo. A knot of bamboo remains at the bottom.

煤竹根棗 [25-001]

銘「武蔵野」

煤竹の根本に近い部分を使用している。内側には黒漆塗が施され、外側には彫刻による武蔵野の木立が表現されている。彫りには力強さが感じられるが、所々に銀粉を施した事により、柔らかさをも醸し出している作品である。
