煤竹透手付置花籠 [55-036]

横13cm×高さ20.5cm×全長32.5cm×口径7.5cm

煤竹の特色、色の濃淡を生かした花籠である。本体は幅3mmと7mmの煤竹を使用した透かし網代編みで、約8cm四方の底より編み上げられている。底から約8cmまでの側面は網代編み、続いて幅約1cmの竹籤でアクセントを入れ編み上げている。縦の竹を口造りでまとめ、根曲がり竹の縁で内側と外側とで挟み、細い根曲がり竹で巻き留めている。細い2本の煤竹を側面に差し込み皮籐で留め、飾り手としている。

Susudake Sukashi Hanakago(Flower basket)

D.13cm x H.20.5cm x W.32.5cm, Caliber.7.5cm

This Hanakago(flower basket) have a characteristic tone of Susudake. The body was plaited with about 3mm and 7mm Susudake by twill plaiting. It starts from an about 8cm square base. There is an ornament of thin split rattan lines on the side of the body, about 8cm above the bottom, which was made by twill plaiting. All vertical lines of Susudake are joined to the lid of Nemagaridake. After that, it was fixed with another thin Nemagaridake. The Handle consists of two splitted rattan lines.

手付置花籠 [55-034]

横20cm×高さ33cm　口径19.5cm

磨きの竹を使用し、煤竹手付置花籠 [55-001]と同種の花籠である。底編みは二本取りの鉄線編み、立ち上がりからは透かし三本網代編み、胴の部分にささらで捻り編を二段入れている。首周りは透かし二本網代編みで細く締め、口造りへ広げながら編み上げている。

Flower Basket [55-034]

This flower basket was made of Migakinotake. This basket looks like a flower basket with handgrip[55-001]. The base was made by double Tessen plaiting and the body was made by double twist plaiting with thin bamboo lines. The throat of the body was taperd and spread to the rim stitching.

手付置花籠 [55-031]

幅25cm×口径14cm×高さ30cm

磨きの竹を使用した花籠である。底から胴近くまでは麻の葉つぶし編みで、胴にはささら編みを3段入れアクセントとしている。口造りにかけては網代編み。口造りは、編み地を幅12～13mm程の煤竹で外と内側から挟み、皮籐で細かく飾りを付けながら巻き留めている。さらに幅10mm程の煤竹を底から前後に渡し、強度を付けつつアクセントとし、飾り手には細い根曲がり竹を脇に差し込み皮籐で留めている。

Flower Basket with a handgrip

This flower basket was made of Migakinodake. The body was made by Asanoha-tsubushi plaiting and it has thin line made by Sasara plaiting as an accent. At the rim stitching, it was stitched with split rattan lines after setting about 12 or 13 mm Susudake to the inner and the outer ground. On the out side of the body, about 10 mm Susudake was banded from bottom to top. A thin Nemagaridake which was combined with the body shaped as a handgrip.

煤竹手付置花籠 [55-021]

底から編み始め、まず放射線状に竹を重ね皮籐で三段程青海編みを入れ、立ち上がりから茣蓙目編みでふっくらと編み上げている。飾り手には煤の篠竹を、口造り、高台には根曲がり竹を用いており、どちらも皮籐で細かく巻きながら飾りを施し留めている。上部に根曲がり竹で輪を2本付け、その間には藤蔓の飾り結びが施されている。表面は拭き漆で艶を出し繊細の中に素朴さも感じられる作品である。

煤竹網代手付菓子器 [40-005]

高さ17.5cm×幅16cm×奥行16cm（籠部は高さ6.5cm）

煤竹の特徴である濃淡の美しさを取り入れた作品である。内側には黒漆が何層にも施されている。底は二本取りの鉄線編みで、立ち上がりから胴部分は網代編みである。口造りは、幅10mm程の煤竹を輪にして内側と外側にあてがい、さらに皮籐で細かく巻いている。手の部分には細い煤竹を3本使用し、2本を底へ、1本を側面へ差し込んでいる。そして持ち手となる場所で3本をまとめ、その上から皮籐で細かく巻き、強度と装飾の役目を果たしている。

Basket for Sweets [40-005]

This basket for sweets brings out the best beauty of light and shade of Susudake. A lot of layers of lacquer were applied inside the basket. It has double Tessen plaiting base and twill plaiting body. At the rim, it was touched about 10mm(0.39″) Susudake and stitched finely with split rattan lines. Three lines of Susudake make a handgrip. Two lines of them are joined to body and one of them are joined to base. In order to play an important role in strength and display as an ornament, the handgrip was stitched finely with split rattan lines.

煤竹網代手付丸盆 [40-004]

煤竹を使用し、縄目模様による煤竹特有の濃淡を取り入れた枡網代編みである。縁の部分は細い柾割の煤竹を幅10mm程に並べ、皮籐で飾りを施しながら巻いている。手の部分は細い2本の煤竹を用いており、端を底の裏に差し込み留めている。底の裏全体に黒漆が塗られている。

手付置花籠 [55-016]

幅のある磨きの竹を使用。六つ目編みの一つを底とし、ざっくりと編み上げた籠である。壺や花瓶を飾る感覚で玄関や居間などに飾っても良い。

煤竹網代手付四方盆 [40-003]

煤竹を使用し、底部分を枡網代編みで編み、その後それぞれの立ち上がり部分を四方へ編み進めたものである。底部分の四辺から立ち上がりにかけ、幅10mm程の竹を当てがい、外側と内側とで編み地を挟み籐皮で留めている。縁も同様に編み地を挟み、こちらは籐皮で細かく巻きながら飾りを施し留めている。手の部分は煤根曲がり竹を使用し、籐皮を飾り手に絡ませながら細かい飾りを施し両脇で留めている。内側には二色の漆を何層にも重ねて塗り、研ぎ出しによる模様を施している作品である。

手付置花籠 [55-015]

晒しの竹を使用した手付きの花籠。二枚重ね、二本取りの透かし網代編みで底部分を編み、ささら編みを二段入れた後、立ち上がりより一本取りである。横に渡す竹の幅を変えながら胴に膨らみを付け、ささら編みで仕上げている作品である。口造り、飾り手には同じ竹を使用し竹の端の部分を前の飾りとして斜めに差し込んでいる。

煤竹櫛目編花籠 [65-001] の作品と同型。

予め底の立ち上がり部分を曲げて形を整えた物を、縦横に重ねて四方を籐皮で細かく結び、底を作っている。側面には煤竹特有の縄目による色の濃淡や、節の配列などによる景色が伺える。胴の四隅には幅のある竹を入れて中心に膨らみを持たせ、籐皮で結び留めている。口造りは、予め四角く曲げた竹を宛い、その周りに籐皮で飾り結びを施している。煤竹の手を付けた置き専用の作品である。

Flower Basket with handle, and made with Kushime plaiting [55-010]

H.34.5cm(13.6″) x W.19.5cm(7.7″) x D.18.5cm(7.3″). The base is a square of 10.5cm(4.1″).

The bamboo, bended to make the side, were piled as the base. On the side, there are light and shade of Susudake and a pattern of knots of bamboo. Wide bamboo are put in each corner of the main body, and fastened with Toucawa in order to give the swelling. At the rim stitching, the bamboo bent square beforehand is allotted, and the decoration connection is applied with Toucawa. It is a work for stand that has the handle made of Susudake.

It appeared in the April edition in 1983 “The Art Graph” (Nippon Bijutsu Shuppan publishing).

籠目編手付置花籠 [55-005]

磨きの竹を使用。籠目編みで構成され全体は六角形である。煤竹で飾り手を付け、皮籐で細かい飾りが施されている。
