煤竹透手付置花籠 [55-036]

横13cm×高さ20.5cm×全長32.5cm×口径7.5cm

煤竹の特色、色の濃淡を生かした花籠である。本体は幅3mmと7mmの煤竹を使用した透かし網代編みで、約8cm四方の底より編み上げられている。底から約8cmまでの側面は網代編み、続いて幅約1cmの竹籤でアクセントを入れ編み上げている。縦の竹を口造りでまとめ、根曲がり竹の縁で内側と外側とで挟み、細い根曲がり竹で巻き留めている。細い2本の煤竹を側面に差し込み皮籐で留め、飾り手としている。

Susudake Sukashi Hanakago(Flower basket)

This Hanakago(flower basket) have a characteristic tone of Susudake. The body was plaited with about 3mm and 7mm Susudake by twill plaiting. It starts from an about 8cm square base. There is an ornament of thin split rattan lines on the side of the body, about 8cm above the bottom, which was made by twill plaiting. All vertical lines of Susudake are joined to the lid of Nemagaridake. After that, it was fixed with another thin Nemagaridake. The Handle consists of two splitted rattan lines.

煤竹手付置花籠 [55-035]

立方体に手を付けた様な花籠である。幅5～13mm位の煤竹を使用し、竹の中心部分の皮を削り落としたものとを交互に用いて、編み目の大きい四つ目編みで仕上げている。

This flower basket was formed as a cube with a handgrip. The body was plaited with about 5 to 13mm Susudake. Surface-shaved Susudake and not one are plaited one after the other, with wide spaces by square plaiting.

花籠 [65-004]

幅14cm×高さ17.5cm、口径7.5ｃｍ

磨きの竹を使用した花籠である。全体は魚籠（びく）の様な形で、底部分は荒い四つ目編み、立ち上がりからは幅の細い籤（ひご）を二重にして編む捻り編みである。全体を染料で染め、その上から拭き漆を施し、落ち着いた仕上がりとなっている。

This flower basket was made of Migakinotake. The body looks like a creel. The base was made with square plaiting and the body was made with twist plaiting. Having been stained and coated with Japanese lacquer, It looks calm.

煤竹置花籠 [55-033]

細く竹造りをした煤竹を使用し、華奢で小振りな作品である。底は2本取りで鉄線編み、立ち上がりからは網代網で、途中に細い竹籤を何段か入れながら編み進めた籠である。口造りと飾り手は根曲がり竹である。

This small flower basket was made of thin Susudake. The base was made by Tessen plaiting and the body was made by twill plaiting. It has many thin bamboo lines. The rim stitching and the handgrip were made of Nemagaridake.

: 煤竹籠目編置花籠

口径18cm×高さ25cm　底の径26cm

煤竹を使用した花籠である。全体は最も基本的な編み方の一つである籠目編みで仕上げ、底には3本の力が入っている。側面は6方向にかけて高台から口造りに竹をあてがい飾りとしているが、これは強度としての役割も兼ね備えている。口造りには竹籤を撚り縄編みにし飾り手を付け、アクセントとしている。

This flower basket was made of Susudake. The body was made by Kagomeami-plaiting, known as the most basic way of plaiting, and has three base lines of bamboo crossed at the bottom. Six splitted bamboo lines were set on the outside of the body. These lines also hold an important place in strength. At the rim stitching, there is a handgrip which was made of thin splitted bamboo lines by Hineriami plaiting.

直径20cm×高さ30cm

磨きの竹を使用、口造りと手は煤竹、全体を網代編みで編み上げた後に染料で染めた作品である。底の六角形から編み始め、立ち上がりから膨らみを持たせ、腰の辺り（下方三分の一辺り）で竹を6本ずつまとめ編み、波のような模様を出している。口造りは内と外に竹の縁をあてがい編み目を挟み、皮籐で細かく飾りを付けながら巻き留めている。飾り手は7mm程の2本の煤竹を脇に差し込み皮籐で留め、手の上部には飾り結びを施している。

This flower basket was dyed dark after being made by twill plaiting with Migakinotake. The plaiting was started from the hexagonal bottom. The body is roundness and it has a wavy pattern which was made of six splitted bamboo at the middle of the body. At the rim stitching, it was stitched with split rattan lines after setting Susudake to the outer and inner ground. The handgrip was made of two split rattan lines(about 7mm) and it was tied upside as a decoration.

直径（最大幅）15cm×高さ21cm

煤竹を使用し、上下別々に作ったものを繋ぎ合わせた作品である。口部分から編み始めた上半分は、幅の細い籤（ひご）を二重にして編む捻り編みである。下半分は上半分とは異なり、菊底編みと同じように置いた竹を捻り編みで編み始め、立ち上がりからはござ目編み、最後の4～5段は捻り編みである。上半分を下半分に差し込み、虫籠を形作っている。

Flower Basket “Mushikago” of Susudake

This Mushikago(looks like a insect cage) was made of Susudake. The body is a combination of two parts. Upper body was plaited from the rim stitching with Hineri-ami which used double split bamboo lines. The bottom body is different from the upper one. The first of plaiting bottom is Hineri-ami, the middle is Gozame-ami and the last four or five tiers are Hineri-ami. At the last, upper body was combined with bottom.

磨きの竹を使用した網代網の花籠である。半分よりやや上で編み方を変えアクセントとしている。口造りは、編み地を幅10mm程の煤竹で外と内側から挟み、皮籐で細かく巻き留めている。

This flower basket was made by twill plaiting with Migakinotake. Being changed the plaiting as accent in the middle of the body. At the rim stitching, it was stitched with split rattan lines after setting about 10mm Susudake to the outer and inner ground.

幅17.5cm×高さ18.5cm×口径11cm

煤竹を使った作品で、幅の細い籤（ひご）を二重に編む捻り編みである。粗い四つ目編で底を作り、立ち上がりから四隅に当たる部分に竹を足し、捻り編で丸みを持たせながら全体の四分の一位を編み、次に首まで細めながら編み進め口造りとしている。口造りは、非常に細い煤竹を二つ割りにしたものを外側に、内側には幅10mm程の煤竹をあてがい、皮籐で細かく巻きながら留めている。四隅に当たる部分には幅7～10mm程の竹をあてがい、皮籐で飾りを付けながら留め、アクセントとしている。後ろには燗が付けられ、掛け花籠としても使いやすい作品である。

Flower basket of Susudake

This flower basket was made by Nejiri-ami plaiting of Susudake. Four thin bamboo lines are joined to each corner of the bottom which was made by loose square plaiting. A quarter of the body was made roundness by Nejiri-ami plaiting and remains are narrowed down to the rim. At the rim stitching, it was stitched with split rattan lines after setting about 10mm Susudake to the inner ground and thin split bamboo lines to the outer ground. At each corner, it was stitched with split rattan lines after setting about 7 or 10mm bamboo as accent. At the back of the body, it has a hook to hang on the wall.

竹編み籠が持つ規則的で繊細な網目模様が特徴の花籠である。麻の葉編みで底より編み始め、立ち上がりから全体を編み進める。上部三分の一には籤のような細い竹を捻りながら編み、四段入れて口造りとなる。口造りと首辺りは、幅10～12mm位の竹を外と内にあてがい編み目を挟み、皮籐で細かく巻きながら留めている。持ち手は両端を底部分に差し込み、また持ち手の中心には皮籐で巻きながら飾りが施されている。

晒し竹の表面の皮を薄く削り取った竹（磨きの竹）を使用、一定の幅（3.5～5cm）にし、予め作品の形に竹を曲げて形作り、組み合わせた作品である。底の部分を十字に重ね合わせ立ち上げ、胴の部分で根曲がり竹を巻き皮籐で留め、他の部分に於いても何カ所か皮籐で留めている。手の部分は両脇の竹を長くとり、底から立ち上げたまま上方までのばし飾り手としている。

底から編み始め、まず放射線状に竹を重ね皮籐で三段程青海編みを入れ、立ち上がりから茣蓙目編みでふっくらと編み上げている。飾り手には煤の篠竹を、口造り、高台には根曲がり竹を用いており、どちらも皮籐で細かく巻きながら飾りを施し留めている。上部に根曲がり竹で輪を2本付け、その間には藤蔓の飾り結びが施されている。表面は拭き漆で艶を出し繊細の中に素朴さも感じられる作品である。

口径8.5cm×高さ43cm

年月をかけ充分に乾燥した晒し竹である。下方部分に細かい根の跡が見られる事から、根元に近い部分を用いて作られた作品である。かなり肉厚の竹で16～18mm程で、正面中央の割れは表面だけであり、この割れを景色として取り入れた花入れである。

煤竹を使用している。煤竹の縄目による色の濃淡や節を規則的に並べる事でアクセントとし、モダンな雰囲気が感じられる。予め底の形に折り曲げた竹を並べて皮籐で留め、2組を重ね合わせて底を作る。口造りについては、縦に並んだ竹を内と外から根曲竹で挟み、その上から細く割った根曲竹で巻いている。

根曲がり竹を使用し、箱枕の形をアレンジして作られた作品である。底部分は20mm程の四つ目編み、立ち上がり部分から木型を入れ、途中に石畳編みを幾つか入れながら、それに合わせる様に編み進めている。肩の部分で木型を外し、前後、左右の竹を中心に集め、丸くござ編み5段を施し口造り部分を形成している。籠全体を染料で染め、漆を施す事により煤竹の風合いを大変良く醸し出している。

煤竹特有の色による濃淡が表面に現れているやや小振りの作品である。

福禄寿とは七福神の一、短身、長頭で、髭が多く、経巻を結びつけた杖を携え、多くは鶴を従えているらしい。竹の曲がり具合や色の感じから、その雰囲気が伝わってくる。

晒しの竹を使用した手付きの花籠。二枚重ね、二本取りの透かし網代編みで底部分を編み、ささら編みを二段入れた後、立ち上がりより一本取りである。横に渡す竹の幅を変えながら胴に膨らみを付け、ささら編みで仕上げている作品である。口造り、飾り手には同じ竹を使用し竹の端の部分を前の飾りとして斜めに差し込んでいる。
