把手の位置から後手（うしろで）の急須である。全体を網代編みで仕上げ、把手は非常に細い煤の根曲がり竹が用いられ、注ぎ口、蓋は捻り編みである。特に蓋は、摘みの部分を細く割り放射線状に広げその間を捻り編みしたものである。内部には何層にも黒漆が施され、煎茶用として実際に湯を注ぎ使用する事ができる。

Susudake Ajiro Kyusu

This Kyusu has a handgrip behind the body.The body was made by twill plaiting.The handgrip was made of thin Nemagaridake. The lip for pouring and the lid were made by Hineriami plaiting. Especially, the lid was plaited after bamboo was divided as a knob. Of course we put water into this, because a lot of black layers of lacquer were applied inside.
