煤竹網代水指 [15-008]

口径13cm×高さ15.5cm　底の径14cm

全体を網代編みで構成し、胴の辺りで網目模様に変化をつけた作品である。蓋は細い煤竹の節を摘みとし、放射状に割り、その周りをやたら編で編み上げ縁を付けたものである。口造りは内側に竹を付け落とし蓋仕様とし、内側は何層もの黒漆が施され、実際に水を入れ使用することができる。

Susudake Ajiro Mizusashi

Caliber.13cm x H.15.5cm　Diameter of the bottom 14cm

This Mizusashi was made with twill plaiting. It has an change of a plaiting at middle of the body. A thin bamboo was cut radial as the knob of the top and it was plaited with Yartara plaiting. At the rim stitching, bamboo was attached inside to fit the lid. Of course we put water into this, because a lot of black layers of lacquer were applied inside.

四方竹水指 [15-007]

横22.5cm×高さ14.5cm×口径19cm
銘「日月」

厚みのある四方竹（しほうちく）を繋ぎ合わせ全体を形作った水指である。四方竹とは棹が四角形に育った竹である。一定の長さに切り揃えた9枚の竹にカーブを付け、横に並べながら皮籐で繋ぎ合わせている。内側は繋ぎ目に柿渋を塗った和紙を貼り、その上から黒漆を何層にも厚く塗っている。底と蓋は横に繋ぎ合わせ丸くカットしたもので、蓋の摘みには銀線を使用。口造りは内側に竹を付け落とし蓋仕様とし、表面は透漆仕上げである。正面には金箔を貼り陽を描き、蓋を取った向こう正面には、三日月を蝶貝による螺鈿で表現している。

Shiho-chiku Mizusashi

The inscription is “Jitsu-Getsu”.

This Mizusashi is a combination of thick Shiho-chiku bamboo. The shape of a Shiho-chiku is square. Nine part of bamboo which were cut same size and bended were arranged and joined with split rattan lines. Japanese paper which was colored by juice from a persimmon was applied at joints and a lot of layers of black laquer were applied inside. Both the bottom and the lid were cutted circle, and a knob of the top was made of silver wire. At the rim stitching, bamboo was attached inside to fit the lid, and clear lacquer was applied to the surface of the outside. The gold at the front of the outside expresses the sun and the shell at the front of the inside expresses the crescent.

煤竹網代水指 [15-006]

口径15cm×高さ19cm、底の径14cm
銘「なで牛」

全体を網代編みで構成、下方三分の一辺りで網目模様に変化をつけ、底は升網代編みの作品である。蓋は幅2.5～3cmの煤竹を横に並べ繋ぎ合わせ丸くカットしたもので、蓋の摘みには真鍮を使用。口造りは内側に竹を付け落とし蓋仕様とし、内側には何層もの黒漆が施され、実際に水を入れ使用することができる。

Susudake Ajiro Mizusashi

Caliber.15cm x H.19cm diameter of the bottom 14cm

This Mizusashi was made with twill plaiting. It has an change of a plaiting at one-third of the lower half of the body. The bottom was made with square twill plaiting. The top was made from a combination of bamboo which was build of about 2.5 through 3cm Susudake. The knob of the top was made of brass. At the rim stitching, bamboo was attached inside to fit the lid. Of course we put water into this, because a lot of black layers of lacquer were applied inside.

煤竹網代水指 [15-005]

口径16cm×高さ17cm

胴は二種類の網代編みにより変化をつけ、煤竹の縄目による濃淡が微かに伺える。蓋は柾割の竹を中心から渦巻き状態に巻きながら造られたものである。煤竹独特の濃淡や節による凹凸が面白い。摘みは煤根曲がり竹の節が使われている。内側には何層もの黒漆が施され、実際に水を入れ使用することができる。

Ajiro Mizusashi

H.17cm(6.7″), Caliber.16cm(6.3″)

The body of this Mizusashi has a change with two type of the twill plaiting, and a few light and shade of Susudake. The top was a coiled bamboo which was divided lengthways. The body which has light and shade of Susudake, or uneven surface made of knot is quaint. The knob of the top was made of a knot of sooted Nemagaridake. Of course we put water into this, because a lot of black layers of lacquer were applied inside.

煤竹網代平水指 [15-004]

2008 年 7 月 22 日

口径20cm×高さ11.5cm

煤竹の縄目による濃淡を取り入れ、全体を網代編みでふっくらと仕上げた作品である。側面は中程で編み目に変化をつけ、上方にはささらで三段飾りを入れアクセントとしている。内側には何層もの黒漆が施され、実際に水を入れ使用することができる。蓋は黒真塗りである。

Ajiro Hira-Mizusashi

H.11.5cm(4.5″), Caliber.20cm(7.9″)

This Mizusashi has roundness body with light and shade of Susudake. On the side, there is a change of the plaiting in the middle, and three tiers as decoration in the upside. Of course we put water into this, since a lot of layers of lacquer were applied inside. The top was coated with black lacquer.

平水指 [15-003]

2007 年 3 月 2 日

口径22cm×高さ9.5cm、高台径11.5ｃｍ
銘「年輪」

全体を網代編みで形成し、正面に当たる一部分を残し、その他の部分には極薄い和紙を貼り表面全体を漆で仕上げている。内側は何層にも黒漆が施されている。蓋は柾割の竹を中心から渦巻き状態に巻きながら造られたものである。摘みは煤根曲がり竹の節の部分が使われている。煤竹独特の濃淡や節により年輪を表現し、生命力の神秘を感じさせる作品である。
