磨きの竹を使用した網代編み、内側には黒漆が何層にも施された作品である。底部分を枡網代編みで編み、その後それぞれの立ち上がり部分を四方へ編み進め中頃から変化をつけた編み方となる。縁は幅8mm程の煤竹で外側と内側とで編み地を挟み籐皮で細かく巻きながら飾りを施し留めている。手は5mm程の煤竹2本を中央で纏め側面の編み地に差し込み皮籐で留めている。底には煤竹の高台が付けられている。

煤竹網代 急須 [05-004]

- 横14cm×口径6.5cm×高さ9cm
把手の位置から後手（うしろで）の急須である。全体を網代編みで仕上げ、把手は非常に細い煤の根曲がり竹が用いられ、注ぎ口、蓋は捻り編みである。特に蓋は、摘みの部分を細く割り放射線状に広げその間を捻り編みしたものである。内部には何層にも黒漆が施され、煎茶用として実際に湯を注ぎ使用する事ができる。

Susudake Ajiro Kyusu

This Kyusu has a handgrip behind the body.The body was made by twill plaiting.The handgrip was made of thin Nemagaridake. The lip for pouring and the lid were made by Hineriami plaiting. Especially, the lid was plaited after bamboo was divided as a knob. Of course we put water into this, because a lot of black layers of lacquer were applied inside.

全体を網代編みで構成し、胴の辺りで網目模様に変化をつけた作品である。蓋は細い煤竹の節を摘みとし、放射状に割り、その周りをやたら編で編み上げ縁を付けたものである。口造りは内側に竹を付け落とし蓋仕様とし、内側は何層もの黒漆が施され、実際に水を入れ使用することができる。
Susudake Ajiro Mizusashi

This Mizusashi was made with twill plaiting. It has an change of a plaiting at middle of the body. A thin bamboo was cut radial as the knob of the top and it was plaited with Yartara plaiting. At the rim stitching, bamboo was attached inside to fit the lid. Of course we put water into this, because a lot of black layers of lacquer were applied inside.
煤竹網代 菓子器 [40-007]

煤竹を使用、縦六角網代編みから始まり、全体を網代編みで仕上げた作品である。底には幅10mm程の煤竹を輪にして高台を付け、表面は煤竹独特の濃淡模様が現れている。内側には何層もの黒漆を施し、その上に金箔、銀箔を細かく散りばめ、また金箔で井桁模様を付けた菓子器である。
Susudake Ajiro Kashiki
- Height.8cm, Caliber.16.5cm
This Kashiki is made by Ajiro-ami plaiting, and made of Susudake. The kodai, an about 10mm in thickness ring-shaped part under the bottom, is also made of Susudake. The body have unique Susudake patterns on its surface. A lot of layers of black lacquer were applied inside the body and fine silver and gold leaf were also applied.
網代 平茶碗 [20-006]

煤竹を使用し網代編みで制作された平茶椀で、竹の茶碗としては第二作目である。内側には漆が何層にも塗られ、その表面には顔料を混ぜた漆により渦巻き模様が描かれている。鳴門の渦潮を連想させる作品である。茶溜まりもあり、また手の中に丁度スッポリと収まる、使い勝手の大変良い茶碗である。

Ajiro Chawan
- Caliber.16.5cm(6.5″), H.5.5cm(2.2″)
This is the second Chawan as bamboo-made chawan, which was made by twill plaiing of Susudake. Lacquer were applied and a spiral pattern appered inside. It looks like the shirling current of the Naruto channel in Japan. The holoow at the bottom inside gathers tea at the end of drinking tea. This Chawan is convenient because it fits our hands.

煤竹網代 急須 [05-003]

把手の位置から横手（よこて）の急須で、日常において使用するポピュラーな形である。全体を網代編みで仕上げ、内側には何層にも黒漆が施されている。表面の漆はつや消しである。蓋は煤竹の縄模様による濃淡を組み合わせながら枡網代編みで、摘みは細い皮籐を捻り編みにして取り付けられている。
Susudake Ajiro Kyusu(teapot)

This type of a Kyusu(teapot) is called “Yokote”, becase it has a Lip for pouring and a handle at right angles. This kind of Kyusu is a popular form for general use. The body was made with the twill plaiting, and a lot of layers of black lacquer were applied inside. The surface of the body is frosted lacquer. The lid has light and shade of Susudake with the Masu-twill plaiting. The knob was joined to the lid by the Hineri plaiting with the split rattan lines.
煤竹網代 茶櫃 [80-006]

煤竹の特徴である色の濃淡を規則的な編み方に生かした作品である。底は2本取りの鉄線編み、側面と蓋を網代編みで構成し、内側に漆を何層も施す事により強度を増した茶櫃である。煎茶道具一式を入れ手前などに用いることが出来る。
Chabitsu

This Chabitsu makes the most of light and shade pattern of Susudake. The bottom was made with double Tessen plaiting. The side and the top was made with twill plaiting. Inside the body, a lot of layers of lacquer makes the body strengthen.

全体を網代編みで構成、下方三分の一辺りで網目模様に変化をつけ、底は升網代編みの作品である。蓋は幅2.5～3cmの煤竹を横に並べ繋ぎ合わせ丸くカットしたもので、蓋の摘みには真鍮を使用。口造りは内側に竹を付け落とし蓋仕様とし、内側には何層もの黒漆が施され、実際に水を入れ使用することができる。
Susudake Ajiro Mizusashi

This Mizusashi was made with twill plaiting. It has an change of a plaiting at one-third of the lower half of the body. The bottom was made with square twill plaiting. The top was made from a combination of bamboo which was build of about 2.5 through 3cm Susudake. The knob of the top was made of brass. At the rim stitching, bamboo was attached inside to fit the lid. Of course we put water into this, because a lot of black layers of lacquer were applied inside.
