Both of these three plants are strong in the cold and called &#8220;Saikan-no-san-yu(<span xml:lang=\"ja\">\u6b73\u5bd2\u306e\u4e09\u53cb<\/span>)&#8221; in Chinese. \r\nEspecially the bamboo had been used in Southeast Asia as the material of the folkcraft such as baskets, but it was not recognized as an artistic material.
